Next weekend is the Kentucky Derby, always a fun excuse to don a hat and sip cocktails before noon. And really, any reason to dress up I will take!
For me, the first weekend in May also officially greenlights a warm weather wardrobe. This summer it looks as if our closets will be filled with woven details on everything from accessories to shoes. Soft seafoam, aqua, and all of the greens will be making a big appearance. It also seems that the cut-out dress trend may be here to stay. Not sure if I am completely on board, so I will be testing out pieces with smaller-scale openings.
